Yin Yoga Masterclass with Sara!

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine the season of Summer is associated with the organs Heart & Small Intestines and the element of fire.

Fire element expresses itself as joy and manifests within us as love, laughter, and enthusiasm. During summer, the season of maximum expansion, we can become aware of ourselves at our fullest.

In this nourishing yin class, Sara will guide students through a series of yin yoga poses that enhance the overall vitality for heart and small intestines, ending with guided mediation.

These sequences develop flexibility, as well as developing mental stability and clarity that allow us to disengage from the mental habits of reactivity, and instead, to develop a wakeful, inquisitive attitude.

Yin yoga is a meditative asana practice that uses long, passively-held poses to stimulate the balancing of energy channels in the body. Using yin yoga poses and simple pranayama techniques (breathing practises), students will begin to cultivate refinement of the energy body.

‘As we move closer to our inner spirit, we move toward living in the present and stop the constant fretting about what will come next’
